Nippon

This is the Nippon, one of several plastic imitation 35mm SLRs that are around. This one sells for $19.95 through an infomercial, and has been known to sell for lots more on the streets of New York to unsuspecting tourists. The "color optical lens," which is covered by the large piece of plastic which does nothing, hides a tiny plastic lens, which is why I call it a toy camera. The shutter has four blades which form a square, there's no focus, and the settings are very similar to the Diana's: sunny, cloudy etc. (I paid $2 for it in a 99 cents store).
